About Together in Theatre

Recently founded in 2007, Together in Theatre is in the process of gathering industry "mentors" to assist in teaching theatre trades to our youth. At the same time, our team is contacting probation officers, school teachers, and social workers who may be in contact with young persons that perhaps could be saved from a life of crime by introducing them to a trade from which they could make a living.

We are currently seeking theatre space in which to hold classes. In addition, we are contacting small and large theatre groups that would consider utilizing our students as interns. In order to expand our reach and better meet the needs of our students, Together in Theatre is working to establish strategic partnerships with entertainment industry leaders.

As a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, Together in Theatre depends on support from individuals, corporations and foundations that believe in our mission to provide a much-needed service to the troubled youth of Los Angeles.
